Dubrovnik Nightlife

Among the many bars and “watering holes” that you can frequent in Dubrovnik, an evening’s entertainment could begin, or end, with a stroll along one of their many wonderful beaches – some alive with parties! – as well as a walk in and around the historic streets of Old Town Dubrovnik.

1. Katie O’Connor’s Irish Pub, Dropceva 4a - website

This is a terrific Irish pub found in Dubrovnik that also serves breakfast (if you find yourself still there in the morning!) and great food from the grill.

2. Caffe Bar Rio, Palmoticeva 4 - website

This bar is one of the newest “happening” party spots in Dubrovnik.  You will want to check it out.  They offer imported and domestic beers as well as spirits, mixed drinks, and unique coffees.

3. Nonenina Bar, Pred Dvorom 4 - website

A bar with music to help you chill out from a busy day of sightseeing, this bar offers over 180 different cocktails, along with cognacs, champagnes, whiskeys, liquors, and more.

4. Fresh, Vetraniceva 4 (just off Stradun between Netcafe and OTP bank) - website

A great bar with friendly and helpful staff, this is a great place to meet people and chug gigantic beers.

5. Becketts Irish Bar, 61b lva Vojnovica, Lapad

Located just outside the walls of Dubrovnik, this establishment stays open later than others.  They have a large terrace and a lovely old olive tree to help you while away the night hours.

6. Troubadour Jazz Café, Buniceva poljana 2 - website

Filled with alfresco live bands or Dixieland jazz bands, you can dance the night away at this café.  Get there early if you want a seat!

7. Café Buza, Od Margarite

The name meaning “hole in the wall” is just what this establishment is.  It might take a local to help you find it but when you do, the view and the tables on rock outcroppings overlooking the Adriatic make it all worthwhile.

8. Eastwest Beach Club – Banje (in front of the eastern entrance to the Old City, just past Hotel Excelsior) - website

This nightlife scene is said to be the hippest venue in Dubrovnik.  Lush sofas, exciting DJs, and dance music add to the ambience of this Mediterranean locale.

9. Labirint Night Club, Ulica Sv. Dominika bb, Old Town - website

Here you will find a little bit of everything for everyone, including a disco, a casino, a restaurant, and a night club for late-night party-goers.

10. Latino Club Fuego, Starcevica 2 (just outside Pile Gate) - website

For drinking and dancing, this night club offers a variety of music styles to suit just about anyone’s musical tastes.
